A renowned Portuguese modernist ceramicist and painter, Maria Emília Araújo (b. 1940) is a resident artist at Viúva Lamego. This work was made to be presented in the Ria Formosa exhibition, curated by Felipa Almeida, in Lisbon by Design in 2022.
