Casa da Quinta dos Murças

Art direction of the interiors project of a manor house located in Douro, inspired by the characteristics of the place and the English influenced aesthetics present in the Douro wine culture. The work was based on Duarte Belo's photographs taken of the house before the works, to celebrate the memory of the space and the objects. Part of the house's original furnishings, as well as some paintings, were recovered in an auction. The artist Henriette Arcelin was challenged to produce a set of illustrations directly on the pages of 1900’s reference book Portugal Vinícola.
