Cantar e Dançar

Matéria Prima in Porto invited me to exhibit a selection of pieces from the collection in their window display for a month, and I chose to celebrate music with pieces related to the theme "Cantar e Dançar" (Singing and Dancing).

This exhibition accompanies the launch of the book "Coleções 1", a publication developed in collaboration with anthropologist Maria Manuela Restivo.

The "Coleções" series explores private collections of folk art and crafts within the Portuguese context. The aim of this project is to showcase and contribute to the understanding of folk art collections, many of which are rarely accessible to the public.
