Arte(sanato) Auction

At the invitation of Cabral Moncada Leilões, I curated the Arte(sanato) auction, which proposes a dialogue between art and craftsmanship, bringing together 96 pieces created in Portugal.

The selection included works ranging from ceramics to silver, as well as drawings, paintings, and earthenware, reflecting the richness of the country’s creative expressions. The auction invitation combined a piece by Cruzeiro Seixas with a work by Rosa Ramalho, illustrating the informal intersections that celebrate the union between art and craftsmanship.

The Arte(sanato) auction highlights the relevance and cultural value of both forms of expression, showing that art and craftsmanship are fundamental to preserving and celebrating Portugal’s cultural heritage. It offers an opportunity to explore and acquire pieces that tell stories of tradition and creative innovation.
