French illustrator and ceramist, Henriette Arcelin (1990) lives between Lisbon and Paris. After graduating from London’s Chelsea College of Art and Design, the artist studied ceramics in Lisbon. Collecting objects that she uses as models for her ceramics or illustrations is an essential part of her creative process.
For illustrations and ceramic pieces, Henriette creates imaginary spaces, drawing inspiration from botany, natural history illustrations, and marine biology. Her latest works denote the influence of Portuguese modernist painters and ceramicists.
